Dad looks great with Alpie – is that one of the asian pears? Hope this week goes well for you all – stay warm! I’m Looking up Thanksgiving recipies so be sure to share your favorite – I have the wiskey yams and cranberry sauce ones – did you all ever do anything with chestnuts or green things?

Give Alphie our best. The wonderful thing about a good dog is that he (or she) can fill moments of our day with joy and peace and warmth. You and Charles are always in our prayers. May God continue to bless you with continuing remission. In fact, He does that for all of us each day so that we can thrive by His grace and mercy.

Michigan, too, has had the roller coaster weather this week…65 on Thursday and 30 today, with snow showers! The bits of color left on the trees will soon be gone and we too will be surrounded by subdued color! However, then comes the opportunity when we must “make our own sunshine” in order to enjoy each day! God’s goodness, found in so many ways, is certainly a special brand of brilliancy….We are thankful for the people through whom God works.

God’s peace, joy and love to you as you “walk through” the treatments again. Thanks for sharing your days with us!

Love, Irene
