Spring is here in Michigan, at least for one day! It was 72 today. Looking for flowers to push their way up to the sky…that can’t be far behind. However, snow is in the forecast for tomorrow night, so for now we enjoy the beauty of today…a good way to live, I think. You have made comments similar to that frequently…thanks for that gift!

The girls and I have been smashing ice puddles for you in our driveway – the cement is crooked enough to form some really great ones – this morning, however, it did not freeze but we spent time looking at buds and a handful of green blades of grass, listening to the birds, and smelling the earth waking up – we are watching and are on high alert because spring is coming – spirits are high!

I read your blog and heard the sounds of the fanfare for common man – enjoy the simple brilliance of your ordinary day and I will too.
