I give thanks for you every day and in every way but these would be some of the things you have given me that I especially give thanks for:

1. The gift of being able to connect with the beauty of the planet
2. A thankful heart
3. My Kitchen Aide mixer, the pasta attachment, and my quisinart (I am shocked that many of my friends and co-workers don’t have one – how they can live without this I don’t know – thank-you for equipping me with essential tools for the next thing on my list)
4. Love for FOOD! The list here is long but to truncate, Rothe buns, spaghetti sauce frozen for the year, grilling chickens on the spit, Swedish meatloaf, etc. etc. etc.
5. Making celebrations (any day – and anything)
6. Music – ability to write, perform and appreciate songs, hymns, classical, rock, and little funny ditties
7. Love – a child who is loved can love in return

Thank you everyday and in everyway

I LOVED the photos in your recent entry!!!!! I saw that wonderful MGB all decked out for the parade with the girls handing out water balloons. What FUN! (and work! Heidi, how long did it take you to fill all those?!) There was too much going on to get Heidi’s attention, but we hooted and hollered! Have a marvelous trip–I’m sure you’ll find even more for which to be thankful. Love, Becky

Miracles do happen and it seems to me this family has had one already with you still among us.
Not to mention daughters practical and poetic, beautiful and imaginative granddaughters, and a husband open to whatever it seems you can accept. Now there is a miracle by itself!
Love, love to you Connie.
Caroline
